Our very own GWC Studios won a Silver Telly Award in the “Social Series” category for our My Kind of Blue digital videos across all social media channels.
The social media video series was an integral part of an integrated, state-wide brand campaign that GuideWell Connect carefully created and executed for our health plan client.
A Labor of Love
The GuideWell Connect Studios team shot 59 scenes over 6 days in Miami. Despite rain on every day of the shoot, the team was able to create both a beautiful television spot and a series of social media videos that embody sunny Florida’s rich cultural diversity from a first-person approach.
Social media ads on Facebook and Instagram featured imagery from the television commercials for cohesion between the digital space and broad media in an effort to lift consumer recall of our client’s brand.
Winning Beyond Awards
This recent win is just one of the My Kind of Blue brand campaign’s many achievements, which include a Silver Addy award for the My Kind of Blue television spot.
The campaign was a success for our client as well—testing beyond expectations in all desired target markets: U65, Medicare and especially among Spanish-speaking audiences.
Overall, the social media campaign performed incredibly well, with over 114 million impressions statewide and over 541,000 engagements (clicks, likes, shares, and comments).
